Quick background: 17 year old autistic male, now in foster care during the weekdays, at home during the weekends. State: NC.
Current main problem: There are other kids there, and he have a history about hitting other kids (and adults). A nice kid, but not someone you can be sure will not harm others. The foster home is not taking the financial responsibility if he harms anyone, and the risk is to high for the family to just assume that he is not going to harm anyone.
So the question here is: Is there any liability insurances that would cover if he should harm anyone or break anything more then random cheap things?
Information on the legal sides of this would also be appreciated.
